You may occasionally see these critters poke their heads out to quickly check the nearby area for plants to eat or for any potential danger but they can’t see many details.
They are able to see light but that’s about it! Instead they “see” using their sense of touch, they have very sensitive whiskers and tails that help them feel around so that they can move along in their tunnel systems.
